We had the last summer workshop on thursday.
Big thank you to Linda Courtney for letting us cascade on the yard.
The dogs found the distractions huge to work through but some gentle paw holding they soon found their confidence. Sorry for laughing at you Linkon but you were very funny. Horse, Dove, Horse, Odour!!! 🤣
Well done everyone its lovely to see you all supporting your dogs in these scenarios.

A very rare space has come up.
Starting 10th September a pop up 6 week course of 'Back to Basics fun obedience'
This is for any dog to have a space under instruction to work through your individual goals. Its a fun environment and we will look at everyday scenarios to refresh and work on what you have already learnt and add in new things.
Any questions please ask.
Thursdays 9.15 in Punnetts Town starting 10th September for 6 weeks. £90.

Not sure where to start with last night's workshop 🤔
Sophie Lefevre hit one of Sussex's finest potholes and that was it her tyre was a gonna.
This was on a tiny single track lane.
Recovery came out but he was useless! Luckily Sussex Mobile Tyres came to the rescue and fixed it within 10 minutes. I wanted to hug the guy!!!
While we waited a local camper came out to be our entertainment, bringing doughnuts and flowers!!! A local resident who couldnt get home walked me back up the dark lane and Catriona Bush joined the party too. Poor Sophie got home just after midnight!
Don't ever say my workshops are dull 🤣
But onto the actual sniffari!!!
Spudd strolled in having a chilled out walk until Sophie realised she hadnt said the magic word. His nose then sprung into action!
Ben was there living his best life!!! 🐔🦆🐐
Tilly was simply brilliant, taking care to climb the logs and locate her find.
Sprout got foiled with - no you cant turn round on the log to look at your Mum so you will need to freeze!
Lily gave amazing duration on her inducations, something David Bowerman has been working hard on.
Will and Trick both struggle with going from low hides to then higher hides but a plan has been made to sort this and they both worked like pro's.
A huge thank you to Cat for letting us desend at her place to cause chaos!!

These brave pooches were fantastic last night at the farm workshop! There was alot going on, sorry Rafa for eating 🎂 on your go! And all the smells but they all got to it and found their finds! 💪

Managed to have all tall dogs on last Tuesdays workshop at Scotland Farm, so high hides it was!!!
The dogs were brilliant struggling with the first one but soon realising they had to go up for the odour. Well done everyone.

Sika loved her treatment from ZBM Veterinary Physiotherapy today! Zoe is so kind, patient and knowledgeable we feel so very lucky to be in her area of work. Sika is only 2 so you would think why would such a young dog need physio but they crash through the undergrowth, jump around on things and even walking your dog on the same side can unbalance them.
We have some homework but it involves treats so Sika is very happy!!!

The biggest thank you to Linda Courtney for letting us use her amazing venue last night, we missed you.
The next big thank you goes to Lucy Bassett for being top camera lady and for watching a couple of dogs due to me still refusing to wear a watch and be bound to any time limits (TIA 🇲🇼).
We had the best time. Rey was super brave, Viva was the best girl, Nico fell in love and we had to check to make sure he hadnt stolen a pony. Doone and Ben spaniel'd around in their happy spaniel heads, Seren worked through her frustrations whilst still ensuring she posed nicely for a pic and Lily's indications where 👌.
Well done super sniffers!!!!!!

Fab evening at Cats with the sniffer dogs tonight. The goats were a fun audience.
Some climbing, some wobbling (Blix 🤣), lots of trusting the dogs and heaps of distractions.

Great evening workshops at Scotland Farm last night. Scentwork isnt just about the searching its about confidence in new areas, with new dogs and people and trying new things!!! This lot aced it and confidence grew and for fizzy dogs their brains engaged as the searches went on 🤣
