Hi everyone,

The blistering hot weather is continuing into this coming week so all afternoon grooms will be moved and spread over the week from Saturday 25th July through to Saturday 1st August.
I will be contacting you all tomorrow, Monday, to rearrange your grooming appointments.

Like I have mentioned to a number of my clients, it isn't just the temperature of the groom room that's the issue. Transporting your dogs adds to the lengh of time they are exposed to the heat (regardless of air-conditioned transportation).

As always, thank you for your patience. I know this hot weather isn't my fault but it doesn't stop me from feeling bad that I have to move your grooms, for some of you again!

An interesting read and makes alot of sense....

These are littermates - one was neutered pediatrically, the other left intact. Notice the permanent puppy-like body of the dog on the left. His head is narrow, his chest is narrow, his angulation is bad, he's taller than he is long because growth plates don't get the proper signals from testosterone or estrogen on when to close.

This is what pediatric neuter does to your dog. It leaves them more susceptible to an incredible amount of health issues (joint issues, multiple types of cancer).

Meanwhile, the only fact in favor of early neutering is to prevent unwanted litters which can be prevented by not letting your dog roam - something we should already be on top of as responsible dog owners.

Dogs need hormones to grow and mature properly.

Do your dog a favor and wait until he's completely matured before neutering!

Well that's another amazing grooming year over.
I am now closed for business and will reopen on Thursday 2nd January 2025.

🔺️ HOUSE RULES - PLEASE NOTE! 🔺️
🔹️Please give a minimum of 24 hrs notice for cancellations where possible,
🔹️Less than 24 hours notice is 50% of groom price, payable before next groom, UNLESS I can fill the appointment
🔹️On the day cancellation or no-show * is 100% of groom price, payable before next groom.
🔹️LATE ARRIVAL - If you are more than 20 minutes late for your appointment and I haven't heard from you (it only take two minutes to call!) to say you are on your way, your appointment will be cancelled. This will be classes as a no-show *.
🔹️LATE COLLECTION - Please collect your dog in a timely manner. Ten minutes from being notified is acceptable. If you need longer to get to me then I am more than happy to contact you so you can arrive at the time your dogs groom is being finished.
🔹️FLEAS
If I find your dog has fleas there will be a charge of £10
🔹️MATTING
If your dog has excessive matting there will be an extra charge of £10.
