Dog walking isn't actually JUST walks...
It's cuddles, drying off after muddy puddles,
Creating an air of calm, hiding treats in your palm,
Keeping both eyes on 6 dogs, Whilst keeping dry in muddy bogs,
Serving little fish in a torrent, as if you were a 5 star restaurant,
Finding those special boots,
Photoshoots,
Loving Licks,
Removing ticks,
Poo, poo and more poo,
And
Saying I love you (a thousand times and more)

Daisy is back!! ✨️🙌🌈🌦🐾
Happy Monday! What a gorgeous start to the week!
We welcomed Daisy back after her surgery with some stunning rainbows, and with her back it really does complete our rainbow of furiends 💛🎉

A very fulfilling walk up Carn Brea with all the girl power 💖✌️ Coco, Grace, Isi, Daisy, Delilah and Nala climbed rocks, posed for photos with lots of snacks, swam and sniffed the afternoon away!

8 different adventures with Ace, Dora, Clemmie, Noodles, Brithen, Rusty, Bentley, Loki, Indie, Paisley, Isi, Nala, Delilah, Coco, Grace, Bruce & Dexter 💛

We explored up high climbing rocks, along the moors, splashed around at the beach and ventured into the woods for all the sniffs 🥰
What an absolutely awesome week!

Monday afternoons photos were accidentally deleted 😅 enjoy the few I took on my phone!! At least I got some 😆

Today ended my month of sitting!
Time to put my feet up and cuddle my boys.

What is overnight sitting? 👀🤔🏡🐾

Well...
It's where I stay with your beloved furry family member in your own home over night! 🙌
For as many nights as you need!
Going on holiday? Looking for a long weekend away? Working away? Any situation where you are leaving your home overnight I am able to stay with them to keep to their routine, comforts and walk schedule 💛

Why sitting in your own home?

🏡It's a familiar environment to your dog which lowers stress when you are away, which is something that can be quite distressing to some dogs especially if it's more than a few nights. They are also booked in on at least one walk a day with their friends they already know and have been walking with. They also don't need to be introduced to a new person! Your dog will get spend some quality time with me 😆who gives them lots of extra fuss and love, this is something I really look forward to! It's lovely to spend time with your dog in a different mode 😍✨️

🏥Health and safety! Sitting allows your dog to be in an environment that doesn't change their safety in any way. It's a place that they are used to and are able to navigate comfortably and confidently. As a professional sitter/ animal carer I am fully trained in first aid, have over 15 years of experience in canine behaviour/ body language, am vetted, insured and qualified to look after your dog safely.
They will also avoid contamination and contagious illnesses commonly found in crowded places/ kennels.

🔐Home security is super important! Whilst you are away your home is usually empty, with a home sitter there is always someone around to look after your home and provide presence in deterring break-ins and catching any maintenance issues early. I also water plants, keep gardens tidy, collect packages that would usually be left outside and collect post. We can also discuss anything else you would like me to sort whilst you are away.

I am conscientious and clean and look after your home like I do mine!

Please note:
I only offer sitting to regular clients where dogs are already mixed into group walks to keep to a regular schedule as I do attend my to my usual schedule in the week. Some get to enjoy a whole day out if this is in their best interest. These things we always discuss ☺️

It's always such a treat to spend more quality time with dog's I walk in the day, we definitely get to strengthen our bond... which usually involves lots of evening snuggles, enrichment activities and allowing them to fully relax 😆🥰

🎉PAISLEY IS BACK🎉
We missed this fun loving loopy, happy go lucky boy 😍 post op he had the all clear to get back to business with his friends, although in Paisley's case it's not business it's party 🤭🤣🙌 you would not trust this boy with your taxes, but definitely trust him to brighten your day with hilarious antics, big goofy smiles and plenty of time for snacks!!

Brithen and Clemmie welcomed him back for a rare Tuesday here at AAA, to celebrate we headed to the dog park unbeknownst to us it became the best place for a good session rolling in fox poo 😅🤣 Clemmie and Paisley kept me on my toes and proved that I couldn't quite catch up to the absolute blast they were having... i just had to roll with it too 🤣
All whilst Miss B judged the mess from a distance 👀😆

The week ended as a very wet one, but these photos remind us that the sun was here... for most of the week 🤭😆
A lovely end to week with my favourite pups!
Dexter, Nala, Clemmie, Isi, Noodles, Bentley, Rusty, Bruce, Dora, Loki & Brithen spent it lapping up the breezy, rainy, sunny madness that the first week of October has dealt us.

🐾DAISY🐾

The life and soul of the pawwwty had a health scare recently so has been MIA from Adventures 🥺

Daisy had an unusual growth on her paw which was sent off to be tested from a fine needle aspirate cell sample, heart breakingly it came back as a possible Sarcoma which meant her promptly going in for surgery to have it removed and sent away for further investigation.
What a worry it was, as we were unsure if this was cancerous what the next steps would be.
Had it spread? Was it localised and removing it hopefully caught the abnormal cells?! So many questions and so much waiting after her surgery, two weeks really did drag!!

After some waiting the news came in that it was a Sarcoma 🥺 BUT it was removed early, and no other treatment was needed 🙏 Not the best news BUT not the worst!!
Daisy has been part of the AAA family since 2021 she is literally part of the furniture (see photos 😂) meaning everything her family goes through with her I really do feel 🥹🥰 She is such an amazing dog, we have missed her being on adventures all whilst waiting for this life changing news and are over the moon to hear she has come out otherside unscathed, all be it absolutely annoyed at having to wear a cone for weeks and not go out on any crazy adventures 😆🤪

She is now all healed up and with another week of rest will be ready and raring to come out and play with her friends!
Yay 🎉✨️🎉

We can't wait to see you Daisy doo!!
We have missed your barking for joy, floppy ears that are sometimes ornaments and your absolute hunger for life 😍 and snacks 🤣

Windy Wednesday faces are all ears and tongue 🤪😍💨🤣
Woweee what a windy day, we took up high on our morning adventure to really feel the breeze 😅😆 and then headed into the woods for some shelter this afternoon.
Nala, Dexter, Noodles, Coco, Grace, Clemmie, Ace & Isi had a fantastic time swimming, snacking, posing, running about with the wind up their bums and taking in all those windy sniffs that have travelled miles to their noses 🙌

Lots of swimming in what still feels like summer sun 😆 Climbing rocks and dunes! All in all...fun, fun, fun!!!

🐾MILO🐾
You may have noticed that Milo has been MIA for some time now. He unfortunately went off his back legs 3 months ago and as feared he was diagnosed with IVDD, a horrid degenerative disc disease 1 in 4 Dachshund's are unfortunately genetically predisposed to 🥺

He immediately went in for surgery and after a sucessful procedure has since been on the long road to recovery 🙏

From being pushed around in a pram to being hoisted around to enable him to gain proprioception in his back legs his recovery has been a steady one, one that required patience from all his care givers... BUT his Daxi tenacity has really given him an exponential and unexpected pace of recovery, he has come on leaps and bounds in ways that his Physiotherapist, Vet's and Vet Nurses have commented on how unexpectedly he has gone from being unable to walk to zooming around in such a short space of time. He is definitely a little trooper and each time I see him and his wonderful fur mum we are so amazed at how far his recovery has come along!
He still gets tired and need to be monitored so will take some time to hopefully be back out with his friends ✨️🤞🙌

I am so proud of how well he is doing, also how well his fur mum has taken all this, as it's such a horrendously scary condition to manage 🥺
Milo we love you and miss you 💛 I am thinking about you every time we are out on a walk you were supposed to be on. We are sending all the positive healing energy.
Oh and some sausages when I see you next 😆🥰
