I honestly can’t believe I’m saying this already… House of Fluff is officially FULLY BOOKED for the rest of the year! 🤎🐾

A huge thank you to every single one of my amazing clients for keeping me so busy and continuing to support my little business. Whether you’ve been with me from the beginning or joined the HOF family more recently, I appreciate you more than you know 🥹🧡

My diary is now closed for the remainder of the year, but I’ll post any cancellations that become available on my stories.

If you haven’t already secured your future appointments, I’d strongly recommend getting your 2027 block bookings organised to guarantee your preferred days and times. Especially those all-important Christmas appointments! 🎄✂️

🐾 A little reminder about keeping your dogs safe & legal 🐾

I’ve noticed recently that quite a few dogs are arriving at the salon wearing a collar without an ID tag, so I wanted to pop up a little reminder 🤎

Under the Control of Dogs Order 1992, when your dog is in a public place, their collar (or harness) must carry the name and address of the owner, either on the collar itself or on a tag/plate attached to it.

📍 Owner’s name + address = required
📞 Telephone number = not legally required, but highly recommended
🐾 Microchipping does NOT replace the requirement for an ID tag.

I’ve also seen dogs arrive wearing a collar but with their lead attached only to a harness - while the collar has no ID tag at all. In that situation, the collar isn’t fulfilling its important identification purpose and ultimately pointless the dog even wearing it.

🚗 Please also don’t forget about travelling safely in the car too!

The Highway Code Rule 57 says dogs and other animals should be suitably restrained in a vehicle so they cannot distract the driver or injure themselves or others if you have to stop suddenly. Suitable options include a properly secured dog crate/carrier, seat-belt harness or dog guard.

I’ve had a few clients arrive with their dog loose in the car, with no collar, harness or lead with them at all. Aside from the journey itself, please consider what would happen if you broke down, had an accident or needed to get your dog out of the vehicle unexpectedly.

Just to clarify, I don’t need your dog’s collar, harness or lead for their actual grooming appointment. ✂️🐩
But they do need appropriate equipment for getting to and from the salon safely, and their legally required identification should be in place when they’re out in public.

I’ve had a few clients loose on the street too, which gives me immense anxiety 😅 Whilst you may trust your dog and their recall, sometimes it can only take a split second if they spot a cat (which there are plenty in the area) or a car comes unexpectedly.

Your dog’s safety doesn’t start when they walk through my salon door, it starts from the moment you leave home. So please be mindful and keep your beloved pets safe 🤎🐾

I can’t believe how quickly you’ve all snapped up my December appointments, and it was in record time this year (pretty much from June) 🥹🤎 Thank you so much for keeping me so busy and for your continued support of House of Fluff 🐾✨

I now have VERY limited availability left for the rest of 2026, with just a handful of appointments remaining throughout October & November.

If your pooch is due a pamper before the end of the year, please don’t leave it too late! Once these appointments are gone, that’s it for 2026 ✂️🐩🤎

📆 Any outstanding deposits are paid, as appointments are not secure without these and may be cancelled

☀️ Hot Hot Summer ☀️

Just a reminder, I do have air con in the salon and so far it’s holding up. If I do feel it’s getting too hot for your pets I will notify you accordingly and try rearrange where possible.

Unfortunately I am fully booked till 17th September so if I do feel I need to rearrange any, then these appointments would be early mornings or evenings when it’s cooler. This doesn’t mean I then have space to groom extra clients I’m afraid, I also need to look after my own health too 🥵

Please please please can I ask that if you do need to cancel your appointment, then allow enough notice prior. I have a super long cancellation list and when short notice is given this means I cannot fill the slot with someone else waiting.

Generally I do post cancellations as having a list creates a lot of admin work, and by that time, I then don’t have enough time to pamper your pet. So please be mindful of this 🙏

And pleaseee don’t be a silly sausage and walk your dogs in this heat. Even mornings have been really warm. Your dog doesn’t need to be walked every day. Why not spend the time indoors learning new tricks or give them a cool puzzle to exhaust their minds.
If you wish to enjoy the weather then walk alone and enjoy some of your own time, peace & mindfulness ☮️
