Hi all. I just wanted to let you all know that 4 Legs Dog walkers & Family Pet Services has now ceased trading. Sadly due to physical issues I have had no choice. I'd just like to say thank you to all my customers and followers who have supported me over the last 7 years. I have loved meeting so many wonderful dogs and their humans over that time and have some very fond memories.

Last year I set up my travel business to run along side my dog walking business. So now that I'm closing the doors on 4 Legs I will be pursuing my travel business full time.

Some of you may be aware that over the last few months I have started a new business in the travel industry and have set up as an independent travel consultant which I am absolutely loving. I am still very much involved in my dog walking business, however, when I was offered the opportunity to start my new business which I could fit around dog walking I decided I had nothing to lose and everything to gain!.

As for any new small growing business it can very difficult to compete with larger companies regarding advertising and promoting yourself.

Dear customers it appears this nasty bug that is going round isn't just effecting dogs who have visited the coast and is spreading in popular dog walking areas. If you notice your dog is suffering with sickness, upset tummies and being lethargic pls can I ask that you let me know as vets are advising we do not mix symptomatic dogs with other dogs. I will continue to cleanse and disinfect my van regularly and let you know if I notice your dogs become unwell during a walk. Many thanks. Xx

🐶We have recently seen an increase in the number of dogs coming to us with gastroenteritis🐶
🌡Affected dogs have been suffering from some, or all, of the following signs: vomiting, diarrhoea, reduced appetite, lethargy.
🌡The majority of dogs have recovered well with symptomatic treatment, a small proportion of severe cases may require intravenous fluids and hospitalisation.
🌡The condition appears to be very contagious between dogs, it is therefore advised to keep affected dogs away from healthy dogs to prevent spread. There is no evidence that people should avoid walking their dogs if they are fit and well.
🌡If you are concerned your pet may be unwell then please contact your vet for advice.

That's it for 4 Legs until Jan. I would just like to say a huge thanks for all the lovely cards and gifts, totally overwhelmed and grateful. But most importantly thank you for all your continued custom and support throughout the year. It's been my busiest year so far doing between 25 to 30 walks a week.....god knows how many miles I've clocked up over the year......and now my little legs and feet are ready for a rest.
Some exciting things coming for 4 Legs in 2022 as I'm studying to become a qualified IMDT dog trainer which I'm really looking forward to.
