What a show! Thanks again to our team who put on a great show at the weekend. We had some lovely courses from our judges and some great prizes sponsored by Clyde Vet Group Small Animal Hospital. Well done everyone 🤩👏👏

Not long until the first of our three monthly shows at Sidewood Canine Services to finish off our 2026 show season.

Our show on Saturday 5th September will open at members.bk9hoopers.com this Friday at 7pm. Remember these popular shows at Sidewood are capped at 45 dogs so do fill quickly. So don’t forget to set your alarm ⏰😬

A beautiful moonlit night to finish off the last night of our Summer training camps at Biggar Showground this year. Thanks to all of you who attended. We’ve seen some amazing work and improvements from everyone. Such enthusiasm to learn and great support for each other. Until of course the final evening at Beetle Drive when everyone gets so competitive 🤣

Now a day of rest for handlers and dogs before our show this weekend. Good luck everyone ☺️🍀

Well that was a VERY busy week! The first of our Summer training camps at Biggar Showground and 2 day show to finish the week. We have lots of thank yous to some fantastic people who made the week so enjoyable and fun.

Firstly to our attendees at the training camp. A great bunch of people, keen to learn and took everything on board. Makes teaching Hoopers easy and a pleasure 🥰 We also found out how competitive you all are especially when it comes to Bingo and Beetle Drive 🤪

Friday was a day off for the dogs so some of us headed to Hillend and the Alpine Coaster 🎢 Great fun but not for the faint hearted 🤣

Huge thanks to everyone involved in running our show at the weekend. Great courses from the Judges, thank you 🙏

Efficient, smooth running of the rings from our club members, we couldn’t do it without you 🧡

And a special thank you to our “Special Ops Team” that included Ring Managers, Show Secretary’s PA and of course the magic toilet fairy 🧚‍♀️😁

Fantastic atmosphere, lots of happy dogs and handlers. And we’re doing it all again. Only 7 weeks to go!😅

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Biggar Showground this weekend for the first of our Summer shows.
We survived the glorious Scottish weather this week at training camp. A few showers ☔️ a wee bit wind 💨 and the odd bit of sunshine ☀️. No heatwave 🥵 so great for the dogs.😉

If you’re camping at the show you can arrive today from 12 noon onwards.

Remember to read the Show Notes at Excel Hoopers Events we will NOT be doing a briefing in the morning we’ll just crack on with the show 😁
