We have just taken delivery of a fresh delivery of potatoes.
Reds and Whites are both now available.

Following on from the extreme drought conditions this season, this years potato crops are showing very poor yields.
With Acreage cut back from previous years too, we are already seeing some farms that would normally have supply to the end of September into October who have halted supply as they have already cleared most of their stock.
This is an unprecedented year, one we have not ever experienced in all our years of selling potatoes, until now.
Generally, at this time of year, we would see prices dropping week after week, they are in fact increasing.
Our supplier is telling us that they believe that it will be a difficult time in the new year to get potatoes, let alone finding the right size and quality that we have been accustomed to.
We are expecting prices to continue to rise and have been told by our supplier that we may see prices anywhere in the region of £20-£25 for a 25kg bag,by Christmas.
This is obviously not nice news to share, but we thought it was important to keep people as informed of the situation as we possibly can.
