Two of our new inpatients taking very well to the water treadmill for their first time - our slow, calm approach gives these horses the best chance of a positive experience, along with keeping the water level and incline low until they are completely happy and relaxed working on there, from there we then make a bespoke programme tailored to their needs.

We would like to wish Wathnan Racing and Gregory the best of luck today as he runs at Champions day at Ascot.
We love looking back at photos and videos of Gregory while he came to stay with us last year for 7 months.
He spent his time being worked to a very varied and tailored rehabilitation program which involved all aspects of work, aswell as finding himself again.
Good luck Gregory 🍀🥂🤞🏽

Yesterday we said goodbye to these three lovely young horses as they head back in to training after their rehabilitation with us.

Between them we have rehabilitated them for a fractured hock, a condylar fracture to a hind lower limb which had 13 screws in place and were successfully removed midway through rehabilitation and damage to the suspensory branch.

All 3 of these horses were here for completely different injuries, all three are returning to training with a bright future ahead.
To achieve this they all had bespoke rehabilitation tailored to their injuries with our water treadmill playing a key role in this . We wish all three of these lovely horses and their owners all the best for the future! 🌟

Thoracic lifts being performed by our in house physio. They are great for getting the horse to engage the core and back muscles- they are especially good for box resters to keep muscles in use.

We love hearing from our inpatients once their back with their owners 🥰
This lovely lady had an unfortunate run in with some barbed wire and ended up degloving her proximal limb.
She came to us to ensure a sterile environment for dressing changes to keep infection risks low and round the clock care while working alongside the owners vet to get the wound to knit back together as neatly as possible.
She started on box rest with hand grazing while the steady work to heal the wound started. Once progress had started to show we began the rehabilitation process tailoring her plan to suit the wounds needs and progress. She started going out in a pen, we then introduced long reining and then got her going under saddle.
It is fantastic to see her back out doing what she loves with her owners. 🤩🤩
