After booking this off three months ago it’s finally here!!!!

I must say I love every single one of your pooches however, im a burnt out groomer and this is needed!😂

Please be patient with the two groomers working, mum will be in reception at her usual times🙏🏽

Right so, I’m not to sure how to start this so please bare with me😪

The past few months as some of you know my mum has been struggling and probably realised she’s not been at the shop as much… due to her mobility and health in general.
She has officially been diagnosed with Severe oestoarthiritis of the hips…
She has two walking sticks and a scooter, she can’t really walk and she can’t drive no more…this wasn’t who my mum was only months ago, she was on her bike, being able to pick up dogs, not having to sit down while grooming because she was too unsteady due to the pain of her hips…SHE WAS ACTIVE!

And now…she does need a hip replacement😞

It breaks my heart to tell you guys that sadly…she will not be grooming your fur babies untill she is well and recovered and we don’t know when the replacement will be as some things have to be achieved first BUT she will still be in the shop Tuesday-Friday 10/11am-3:30pm doing paperwork and all the admin bits! 
Due to this I have had to make the decision to go back to being shut on Monday’s untill further notice.

This has not be easy for my mum at all.

Me and Mum got shop as a mother and daughter, god it breaks my heart knowing she can’t do the thing she love at the moment even if that is shaving dogs bums lol
life is just unfair is so many ways but the good always comes after the bad

BUT SHE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK GROOMING and probably (sadly) her singing too…

I ask that you respect my mum at this time and be patient with us girls working, we will continue to care for your furbabies like normal nothing will change about that 😊
I also just want to say a massive thank you to the the clients that we have had to sort out/move due to this. We do appreciate you❤️

I'm sharing a photo of myself back from 2018. 7 months since my journey began with wags @ Tate.
My love for dogs is quite simply shown in my work.
If you've had the pleasure of seeing me at the shop the last few months, you would no doubt see an issue with my walking, I have now discovered the issue. It's my hips, old before their time shall we say.
I can still groom, I have a chair but my grooms are taking slightly longer. What I ask is that you please be patient with me, which this past week you have.
Wags @ Tate, is quite simply my happy place. I'm fortunate to have my daughter work alongside me and 3 girls that are amazing, we make a phenomenal team!
I am still smiling and singing! And, still going.
