So Friday is my last day of walking HGP dogs

I have loved 99% of the last 13 years walking but I can’t continue any longer as I need to give myself a fighting chance of a life once I get myself well again.

I have been diagnosed with various conditions all brought about by my life for the last 18 years. I have struggled but still managed to build a thriving business and enjoy where I live but the truth is it has all been at a cost and I can no longer cope.

I have had the pleasure of wonderful clients and of course their dogs and some really lovely walkers ( and some who really did me dirty ) and I never thought I would be not doing this BUT since being signed off sick in July I just cannot continue sadly. I hope it’s temporary not permanent but at the moment I do need to give myself some time and space and therapy to get somewhere closer to having a life.

Do you love dogs and the great outdoors? Happy Go Puppy, a friendly and growing dog walking and pet care service and we are looking for a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Dog Walker to join our team!

About the Role:

• Part-time position with flexible hours
• Walking a variety of dogs in safe, fun, and engaging ways
• Building trusted relationships with pets and their owners
• Occasional home visits may be included
• Opportunities to grow within the team as we expand!

What We’re Looking For:

✅ A genuine love of dogs and confidence handling them
✅ Trustworthy, punctual, and friendly
✅ Use of your own suitable vehicle
✅ Physically fit and happy to work in all weather
✅ Willing to undergo a DBS check (or already have one)
✅ Ideally local to Havant / Waterlooville and surrounding areas and able to travel between clients
✅ Previous experience a bonus, but not essential – training provided!

Aww 10 years ago with one year walking under my belt, some of these still with us and walking and some gone over the 🌈 ❤️

It’s HGP 9 year anniversary next week which considering the ups and massive downs of running a small business through covid through cost of living crisis and many walkers & vehicles we are still here ( not as big as we were ) but it’s quality over quantity 🤩
