This week was all about keeping cool. I normally say “whatever the weather it’s Walkies time” but the heatwave was way to intense for doggy walks.
Early mornings only, or none at all!!!

We enjoyed paddles in the river even I got in with the dogs 🐕 💦

Curtains closed all week, keeping the house nice and cool for the dogs to sleep comfortably. Lots of drinks!!! Enjoy your cooler weekend all x

It’s been so nice to see the sun ☀️ at last! Even needing paddles on the river to cool off already as we nearly hit 20 degrees yesterday! The dogs have needed refreshments too this week so take your water with you as it’s a lot warmer for them! Whatever the weather it’s Walkies time x

The saddest part of my job is losing my doggies to heaven. We sadly lost Jesse, our lovely little twin Westie yesterday, but I have to look back on reflection and see what a wonderful life she had, lovely owners in a lovely part of the world and so many adventures on her walkies. We did cover some ground. I hope there’s lots of green grass where you’ve gone and you can chase some pink feathered pheasants all day. We will all miss you so much, especially little wiggy woo! ###

I’ve had to look back to summer posts to keep me sane after all the bloody rain ☔️
Up the dog walkers!
Another wet week ahead of us my fellow outside workers but spring is coming the daffs are sprouting, signs of bluebell leaves surfacing slowly up the woods. Hang on in there, better weather is to come!!!

Getting rid of the summer lighter fluff to make way for that coarser winter fur! Help the doggies out by shedding them, to speed up the natural annual process and to keep their body temperatures regulated to the correct time of year , especially with dogs like huskies and labradors .

Wrap up warm it’s been a chilly 🥶 start but it kills off the mosquitoes, and tics so I’m all for it! Whatever the weather 🌦️ it’s Walkies time!
