It is with great sadness to inform that our beloved Yoda passed away on the 1st of July 2025 at the age of 12.

We are heartbroken and still cannot believe this happened as to the last moments she was very cheerful and playful. She slept more last days and had noticably less energy but still was very active for her age and still had a good appetite.

We don't know the cause of death as we have been told 2 version of the story. One that she was NOT in the garden that day and the 2nd that she was playing with kids in 36°C heat...
We can only suspect that irresponsible adult most likely contributed towards her passing.
She got her heart checked and DNA clear. We have been to the vet in February (for annual jab) and April (for the eye check) and each time she had her weight, heart, belly and groins checked. She wasn't ill, she had good appetite.
I left her at my cousin house for 4 days as I had to leave the country. I've been assured that she will be taken care of.
When passing, her tongue was blue, and it wasn't heart failure...it was lack of oxygen...because she had to have some sort of exercise that no one want to admit she had....someone had to let kids play with her outside...and because French Bulldogs has difficulty breathing anyway, not even mention in the heat, the tragedy happened.
I was scared to leave her with someone I didn't know. Usually I was not going for holidays - in 12 years time I was away only 3 times.
I'm absolutely heartbroken 💔 😭
