🎾🐶 Badger’s tennis ball trouble!

Poor Badger found himself in a bit of a pickle after eating a tennis ball! The ball had been chewed into pieces and unfortunately became stuck, meaning surgery was needed to remove it. Vet Mario removed three large pieces of tennis ball, leaving nothing behind.

Nearly three weeks on, we’re delighted to say Badger has made a full recovery and is back to his happy, playful self! ❤️ Here he is with his owner and Mario, celebrating his successful recovery. 🥰🐾

A reminder that even the most innocent-looking toys can cause problems if they’re chewed and swallowed!

🍂 Hello, Autumn! 🐾🍁

There’s something special about this time of year — crisp mornings, colourful leaves, cosy evenings… and, of course, our pets finding all the best spots for a good snuggle! 🥰

Head nurse Nick’s cat, Maple, has certainly embraced the autumn vibes and has found herself a very cosy bed for the season. 🐱💤

📸 We’d love to see your cosy companions too! Share a photo of your pet enjoying the autumn weather in the comments below — whether they’re curled up in their favourite blanket, out enjoying a crisp walk, or simply claiming the warmest spot in the house! 🐶🐱🐰🍁

Happy autumn from all of us at Mojo Vets! ❤️🐾

🐾 Pablo’s Wriggly Mishap!

Pablo came to see us after a rather unfortunate accident with his topical spot-on parasite treatment. As his owner was applying it to the back of his neck, Pablo decided to have a wriggle — and somehow managed to get some of the treatment in his eye! 😱

Understandably, his eye was sore, and getting eye drops into a wriggly Terrier proved tricky at first. With a lot of patience and perseverance from his owners, Pablo became much easier to treat when he started to feel better 🥰

We’re very happy to report that Pablo’s eye is now fully healed, and he’s back to his usual happy, waggy self! 💙🐶

A reminder that even the simplest of treatments can sometimes go a little awry with a wriggly patient — so if you’re struggling to apply medication or something accidentally gets somewhere it shouldn’t, please give your vet a call for advice.

Well done, Pablo! 💙

🐾🐶 Double Terrier Trouble at Mojo Vets! 🐶🐾

We had the pleasure of seeing lovely terrier Kiki in for a health check, and we’re happy to report that she was found to be healthy! 💛

During her visit, Kiki got to meet another Kiki — Vet Mario’s own terrier, who many of our clients know and love! 🐾 The two terriers enjoyed some treats together and proved that a shared name can mean a shared bond. 😋

It was lovely to see you again, Kiki, and we’re so pleased you’re doing so well. We look forward to seeing you again at Mojo Vets in the future and watching you continue to thrive. ❤️

🐾🖤 Welcome to Mojo Vets, Oreo! 🖤🐾

We had the pleasure of meeting adorable kitten Oreo for his very first vaccinations! 🐱💉

As you can see from the photo, Oreo had plenty to say and was happily having a little chat with Vet Adam during his visit! 😸

It was lovely to meet you, Oreo, and we’re so excited to watch you grow into a happy and healthy cat. We look forward to seeing you again for your future visits and being part of your journey. ❤️

🌿🐾 Bonnie’s Grass Seed Surprise! 🐾🌿

Beautiful Bonnie came to see us after her owner noticed a lump had developed on her face. After a thorough examination and a discussion between her owner and Vet Mario, it was decided that the best option was to sedate Bonnie and investigate the lump more closely.

During the examination, Mario discovered that the lump was actually an abscess caused by a grass seed that had become lodged. The grass seed was carefully removed, and the abscess was flushed to help it heal properly.

Bonnie was also given a course of antibiotics, and we’re delighted to say she is now fully recovered and back to her happy self, enjoying life again! ❤️🐶
