Calling all sea protectors & ocean enthusiasts!

Join us at Hastings Aquarium, alongside the Hastings Kelp Project and Clean Water Action, on Sunday 7th June to help clean up our Hastings Old Town beaches!

Where: Meet on the Aquarium Café deck, Rock-a-Nore
When: 10:00 AM

What you need to know:
• All ages welcome! (children must be supervised by an adult)
• We’ve got you covered: Litter pickers, rubbish bags and light refreshments will be provided for all volunteers, alongside a quick health and safety briefing before we head out!

This is a fantastic opportunity to protect our local coastline and help our beaches recover after a busy May half-term. Our ultimate goal is to earn a Blue Flag award for Rock-a-Nore and by pulling together as a community, we can show the rest of the country exactly how we're going to get there!

Sign-up now: Please refer to the additional info and RSVP on our Facebook event page so we can gauge numbers. See you there! Event link in the comments!

We’ve got plenty happening at Hastings Aquarium this May half-term to keep the family busy!

As of this Saturday (23rd):

Join our NEW, daily seahorse talks at 1pm and 3pm - A great chance to see our newest baby seahorses and learn a bit about how we look after them with one of our amazing Aquarists!

Make and take: Let the kids’ imaginations run wild as they can make their very own Hero of the Seas mask or a shiny underwater crown to wear around the aquarium.

We also have two different trails running through the aquarium depending on who you’re visiting with. Younger kids can do our hands-on texture-rubbing trail, whilst older kids and adults can try the scratchcard spinner quiz.

You can book your tickets ahead of time on our website at hastingsaquarium.co.uk - As always, we’re open every day from 10am! 🦈
