A little name on a big sign. A HUGE moment for us. 🥺🐾

From dog walking back in 2017 to having our very own daycare premises.

A lot of hard work, a few tears and plenty of wondering what on earth I'm doing 😂

But there we are. Unit 20. Critter Sitter Sussex.

Still can't quite believe it. ❤️

I look tired... but I'm not done. ☕

If I'm honest, this photo probably sums up the last few months better than I could put into words.
The website is almost ready and after months of planning, building, spending money I never expected to spend and questioning every decision... we're nearly there.
This isn't the finished product. There are still bits to do, improvements to make and plenty of ideas waiting for the budget to catch up.
But I've realised something over the last year...
Progress doesn't have to be perfect.

If all goes to plan, Critter Sitter's new Dog Daycare & Enrichment Centre will be opening (officially) very soon, and I honestly can't wait to welcome both familiar and new faces through the door.
Thank you to everyone who's supported me, encouraged me and believed in this crazy idea. It genuinely means more than you know.
Here's to the next chapter.

Welcoming a new face to the family 🥰 She took the new daycare on like a little champ. What a little star. We are looking forward to watching you grow into your personality and your fur 🤣

If this video feels a little chaotic... that's because it perfectly sums up my brain right now. 😅

Tomorrow is inspection day.

The dream was always to have everything looking absolutely perfect before opening. The reality? Starting a business comes with a lot of unexpected costs, and sometimes you have to remind yourself that "finished" and "perfect" aren't the same thing.

So today has been all about cleaning, tidying, moving things around for the hundredth time and trying to ignore the mild panic setting in.

Whatever happens tomorrow, I'm incredibly proud of how far we've come. This place has been built with a lot of hard work, a few sleepless nights and a determination to create something really special for the dogs.

Wish me luck... hopefully this time tomorrow we'll officially be one step closer to opening our doors. 🐾
