We’ve got plenty to look forward to over the next few months, with a whole series of Sunday sessions coming up at Dixie Tricks!

From personalised 1-2-1 training and recall to beginner gundog skills, retrieving, and our festive Christmas Social, each session presents a valuable opportunity for growth and improvement for both you, and your four legged friend 🐶

Dates for our December, January and February sessions will be confirmed shortly, so keep an eye out for those!

🐾 Gundog training isn’t just for gundogs!

Labradors, spaniels and other traditional gundog breeds might have generations of instinct telling them to hunt, retrieve and work alongside us, but that doesn’t mean they’re the only dogs who can enjoy it.

Dogs of all breeds, shapes, sizes and ages can learn gundog skills, and more importantly, they can have a LOT of fun doing it!

Retrieving, hunting games, steadiness and recall give dogs the chance to use their brains, learn new skills and work together with their owner. For some dogs it comes naturally, for others it’s something completely new to figure out, and that’s all part of the fun. 💜

At Dixie Tricks, you don’t need the “right” breed or ambitions to work your dog in the field. If you simply fancy trying something different together, you’re more than welcome.

Thank you so much to all who bought tickets - we've started the jar filling for PoTSUK and will continue to do so with both ticket sales for the Big Birthday BBQ, the charity pot in the shop and also a bucket on the night of the BBQ. Dixie Tricks is FIVE 🐾🎉

It’s hard to believe that Dixie Tricks has now been helping dogs and their owners for five whole years. What started as Laura’s passion for dog training has grown into an incredible community, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without every single one of you. 💜

To celebrate, we’d love for you to join us at our Big Birthday BBQ on the evening of Friday 21st August.

There’ll be plenty of food, good company and, of course, lots of dogs! But don’t worry if you’d rather leave your four-legged friend at home. You’re more than welcome to come along and enjoy the evening without them too!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 5 years. From puppy classes and gundog training to workshops, socials and everything in between, it’s been an amazing journey. Watching so many dogs and owners grow in confidence together is exactly why we do what we do.
