The 4 types of massage covered are Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Myofascial release. Maintenance massages are provided for any dog to enable me to spot any issues before they become a problem. A young, fit, active dog can benefit from massage 2-3 times a year.

The Veterinary Surgeons Act is being reformed for the first time in 60 years. The proposed changes currently point towards Ofqual regulated qualifications or university degrees as the minimum standard for anyone working alongside vets.

A weekend certificate, online or unsupervised training won’t meet that. This GA Level 5 Diploma in Clinical Canine Massage Therapy does.�
It’s the only Level 5 Clinical Canine Massage qualification that’s Ofqual regulated through Gatehouse Awards, AHPR accredited and ready for VSA reform. You’ll also train in the Lenton Method, the only canine massage approach backed by clinical trials with the University of Wi******er and published in Vet Record.

I’m back at work tomorrow having taken a week off to look after my new rescue puppy. Elsie is an absolute delight and she is filling the huge hole in my ♥️ that arrived when I lost my beloved Chops. I think he would have loved her. Paddy would have been rolling his eyes at the mischief she gets up to!

6 months without a dog was really tough and felt like a huge part of me was missing.

To those of you who told me to stop waiting until October to get a dog, you were right and I’m grateful to you.

Crate training is a must due to her having to be safe when I’m treating dogs. I’m not going to be going back to back treatments for quite a while as she needs a break between dogs I’m treating. Therefore appointments will be a little bit more limited.
