🐾 Oscar’s mystery lameness solved! 🐾
Poor Oscar had been experiencing episodes of unexplained lameness, so he came in to see us for a closer examination.
During his assessment, we noticed some swelling between his toes. With Oscar safely sedated, our vet was able to explore the swelling and discovered the culprit — a grass seed had become lodged between his toes! 🌱🐾
The grass seed was carefully removed, and Oscar was soon on the road to recovery. We’re delighted to say he’s now back home and, most importantly, back to running around and enjoying life! 🥰
Grass seeds can sometimes cause problems for our pets, particularly when they become embedded in paws, ears or skin. If your dog develops sudden or unexplained lameness, swelling, or persistent licking of their paws, it’s always worth getting them checked.
Get well soon, Oscar! ❤️🐶
