This is a post about a success story. This happy little man is Moose the shih tzu. Moose was almost un-groomable when he first came to us. He is blind in one eye, which means he is very 'head-shy' he is also a very grumpy, stubborn chap who likes things done 'His Way' or the 'Highway'. Moose has 3 'moods' and depending on which one decides how much grooming he gets 'Good' mood means full groom (never perfect though) 'Bad' means bath and tidy and finally 'Moose Mood' means count your fingers because he is extra spicy 🤣🤣🤣. However, because I have worked with Moose for a long time now, I have gained his trust and discovered that underneath Moose is really a little softy who loves cuddles and scratches. And because of this, each time he comes for a groom, I'm able to do a little more, and yesterday, I achieved the ultimate goal (for me anyway) and that is I was FINALLY able to shave and trim Moose's feet which I have NEVER been allowed to do.
So thank you, Moose, for your trust in me and keep up the good work
