Hello everyone!
With some consideration we have decided to slightly alter our class times to work with the darker nights approaching.
We didn’t anticipate the nights to become so dark so early therefore we are proposing to move class times forward 10/15 minutes.

Puppy class : 5:20pm
Adult class 1: 6:30pm
Adult class 2: 7:40pm

We are hoping this small alter of time will allow us to still be in the light for class, If this is an issue for anyone please let us know!

In our recent group classes we talked and introduced threshold training to the group.

Here is an example of how threshold training can be applied to everyday life. Rather than my dogs forcing their way out of the van, they need to wait for their release cue. This sets my walk up with clear expectations.
Manners!!!
It’s key for all dogs to have manners, weather that’s at the front door, getting out the car, on the lead, off the lead; setting your dog up with clear boundaries and expectations is key!🔑

The joys of being self employed! 🥲

So today my van decided it didn’t want to work and conked out on me completely at the end of my second walk of the day.
This resulted in me cancelling the rest of my dogs for the day….at short notice 🙃🫠

I had the van towed, had it checked over and we found the culprit. This small part has snapped….i have spent the past 2 hours running around trying to find this part to replace, only to be told it can be ordered but will take 10 days to come. 🙃

I love my job dearly but this is the reality of owning your own business, as much as we have the ups we also have to deal with the downs. The thought of letting down clients last minute, not to mention the loss of earnings today, the costs of recovery as well as the expenses to fix and replace. I’m now in the limbo of what will happen next week.

I’m working my brain to try and get a solution so we can still go ahead with next week. This all comes at a time where I’m just about to take a week off, which doesn’t help with my guilt! 🙃

I appreciate all my clients understanding as always, this is a massively frustrating situation. The van is my bread and butter so when we have major issues like this it really puts a damper!
However I am remaining positive and trying to find a solution, I’ll keep all clients updated with what’s to come and do my best to work things out!

Massive thanks to Maizie's Mutz for helping us out with our drop offs, it’s a blessing to have good friends in this business who will help you at any point you need!!!
