After checking the weather forecast last week, I booked the gang into Hopewell’s, Forest Walk today so they can still have a decent walk but not overdo it.

Perfect for the dogs, lots of shaded areas and sitting places which we took full advantage of.

Bonnie came with her cool collar and a bottle of water, we also brought our own cool flask and travel bowl although water and bowls are provided by Hopewell, today we needed that little bit of extra for comfort breaks.

🌬️ A cool breeze on bilton fields this morning, thankfully. Although we still headed straight to the beck for some off lead play and dipped our paws in the water to keep cool.

Walks for the rest of the week with will be earlier due to the rise in temperatures.

🪭 All crates have fans, cool mats and I’m carrying extra water.
🕰️ Walks will be earlier, reduced or switched to pop ins
🏡 Please keep curtains/blinds at home shut to help block out the sun and heat.
💦 Leave out extra water than normal, I’ll also top up the bowls.
🪭 Fans, cool mats, cool collars or access to a damp towel to lie on all help to keep our pets more comfortable.
