Meet Florence – Your Future Snuggle Supervisor!

Hi there, I’m Florence – a fabulous 4-year-old Jack Russell cross with a personality as big as my love for squeaky things! If it squeaks, bounces, or rolls… I’m already obsessed.

I’m a certified foodie, (melon is my guilty pleasure) and I take snack time very seriously. But don’t worry—I burn it all off with my playtime antics!

I’m also what the humans call “dog reactive”, so I’ll need a savvy human to help me channel that energy like the superstar I am. I’d ideally love to be your one and only doggy diva, but I could happily share my home with children aged 12+ who understand my fabulous personality.

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room… my iconic Elvis-style look. Some call it goofy, I call it glamorous. It’s basically my signature look, and honestly, it’s kind of a big deal.

When I’m not busy being adorable, you’ll find me doing what I do best—snuggling! I’m a professional cuddle bug who loves kisses, cozy blankets, and being as close to you as physically possible.

So, if you’re looking for a playful, slightly quirky, big-hearted best friend… I’m your girl.

Some pace.
Some hover before you leave.
Some hold it together until you come home.

Most dogs don’t go straight from calm to growl, snap, or bite.
They climb — step by step — through subtle signs of stress that are often missed or misunderstood.

Lip licking.
Turning away.
Freezing.
Trying to escape.

These aren’t “bad behaviours”… they’re communication.

When we learn to spot the early rungs of the fear ladder, we can step in with support before fear turns into reactivity, shutdown, or aggression.

Understanding this isn’t just helpful — it’s essential for keeping dogs and humans safe.

⭐️What Progress REALLY Looks Like in Dog Behaviour ⭐️

We all want the big, dramatic changes.
The perfect loose-lead walk.
The calm greetings.
The totally relaxed dog alone at home.

But real behaviour change?
It’s quieter. Smaller. And incredibly meaningful.

Progress looks like…
✨ A shorter recovery time after a trigger
✨ Choosing to look away instead of react
✨ Eating treats in a situation they couldn’t before
✨ Settling a little faster
✨ One successful repetition — not 20

These tiny shifts tell us the emotional state is improving…
And THAT is the foundation of long-term change.

Micro-progress is still progress.
