It was a pleasure to take part in the Keele University & Staffordshire Business Workshop on Community Cohesion and Social Inclusion. I was honoured to join a panel alongside our MP, the Vice‑Chancellor, academics, community leaders and minority‑ethnic entrepreneurs to discuss the barriers and opportunities for inclusive business growth in Staffordshire.

A key message throughout the day was clear: community cohesion is essential for strong, resilient and inclusive local economies. When communities connect, businesses thrive.

We’re proud to share that Asha North Staffordshire, together with Friends of Hanley Park, has been bringing people together through meaningful social inclusion activities.
Yesterday asylum seekers and local community members joined forces for a litter-picking session around Shelton Cemetery. It was a great opportunity not only to care for our shared environment, but also to connect, build friendships, and strengthen community spirit.
By working side by side, we’re helping to create a cleaner, more welcoming space for الجميع, while breaking down barriers and fostering understanding.
A big thank you to everyone who took part ,your time and effort truly make a difference!

🎄✨ **Christmas for All – A Celebration to Remember!** ✨🎄

This year we were blessed with another incredible Christmas celebration for asylum seekers and refugees living in North Staffordshire. 💙

- **348 people** came together to enjoy hot meals, Christmas music, games, and face painting.
- **192 children** received their very first Christmas gift from Santa 🎅—a moment filled with joy and wonder.

We extend heartfelt thanks to **Angela, Ryn, and Tasha** for their skydiving fundraising efforts, and to **Goostry Church** for donating additional gifts. A very special thank you goes to **Mission Christmas**, who generously donated **350 Christmas presents** for asylum seeker children. These gifts have been lovingly wrapped at the Asha Centre by our dedicated local volunteers and will be distributed to every home and hotel before Christmas.

This celebration truly embodied the spirit of **Christmas for All**—bringing warmth, joy, and community to those who need it most. 🌟
