So, we are sorry to say, the time has come for the Saxons to hang up our flag belts and call the final whistle on our team. It is with very heavy hearts and it was not an easy decision to make.

I know each of us who have played as Saxons, past and present, have taken something special away from the experience.

We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the team in any way, but the current situation with recruitment has made it very difficult to continue with training.

Once a Saxon, always part of the sisterhood 😔🏈

What a fantastic training session we had this morning. A much needed break in the rain and two new faces, it was so exciting to see what they could do. Eloise and Lisa, you did an exceptional job today, can't believe how well you took to a new sport. We hope to see you again soon 😃

So a few years ago, a few of us Saxons got together to raise money for The Donna Louise charity by taking part in the 5k race at Trentham Gardens. It was super hot and we did it in full contact gear....mainly to get as much cash raised as possible. As a team, we love to play the game, but we also like to help in the community and have a bloody good time doing it! SAXON SISTERHOOD!!!!

We will be back in Hanley Park 10-12 tomorrow morning, generally doing our thing. If you would like to try a new sport, run off the results of lockdown and Easter then come along and see what it's about. You just need trainers or football boots if you have them and water. Maybe see you there? 😃🏈👍
