⭐Always ask someone if you can speak to their pet first - before you handle or make contact with the animal!

✅An extremely important and valuable lesson to teach children to ensure they always ask permission at a safe distance before having contact with an animal.

✅Promoting this simple act of asking permission first could have invaluable results helping human and animal interactions remain positive ones ❤

As we continue to gradually come out of lockdown, Chatelherault Country Park has been welcoming a high number of visitors using our wonderful outdoor space.

Unfortunately, there was a recent accident as a result of a collision involving a cyclist and a young girl. Therefore, we would like to remind all cyclists that they should ride responsibly in the Park and be respectful to the conditions and other users.

If there are large numbers of walkers, especially young children, cyclists should dismount until conditions are more suitable to ride. Please be mindful to alert other users to your presence on the paths and trails, and give way to younger children.

We ask all Park users to be mindful of others around them and use the Park safely and responsibly.

All our gorgeous kittens have been rehomed and sorry if we have not replied to you!! We have such a demand for kittens and really appreciate everyone who has enquired and phoned, especially those who have said they dont want to buy a kitten on gumtree/buy & sell sites, totally respect your morals as dont want to line pockets with folks breeding their so called pets and selling their kittens for greed🙁
We spend a lot of time trapping ferals & their kittens (TNR), the adults get spayed/neutered and returned, kittens are socialised by our fosterers and rehomed 😊 no doubt we will have calls for strays, pregnant, unwanted & abandoned cats/kittens every day, which we deal with also...
We are a small caring rescue who work from foster homes and can only deal with what is put forward and what we feel is most urgent..
We also have adult cats who need loving homes, including some semi ferals who have been given lots loving care in our foster homes.. Give them a chance too as they make fantastic loyal, loving pets...
