At Linden Lodge the comfort, heath and safety of your pet during their stay with us is paramount. We customise the needs and preferences of each guest, recording relevant information for future visits. This week is set to be a scorcher! ☀️

Thankfully our kennels are built to stay cool in the hot periods but we also take extra precautions to make sure your pets stay comfortable and happy in this heat!

🐶 Exercising earlier in the day, avoiding the hottest part, and in the afternoon exercising for shorter times.
☂️ Only exercising in our shaded exercise areas - we are very fortunate to have plenty of these!
🐕 1-1 calm time, cuddles and gentle walking when out!
💧 Increased checks on dogs and refreshing their water bowls.
🚿Offering wet towels for the dogs to lay on if they’d like and putting up wet towels in the outside kennels to help keep the temperature down if they are hanging out there.

Enjoy the weather, and come on England!! 🇬🇧⚽️

⭐️ Did you know we do taster days for new clients? ⭐️

Here is one of our recent gentle giants that passed their taster night!

We always promote taster nights to allow us to see how your dog feels staying in a kennel environment.

The stay also allows us to design their care plan for future stays which includes the type of bed they prefer, exercise and enrichment preferences and kennel allocation.

This is all done to reduce stress and create a happy boarding environment for your dog!

Everyone here at Linden Lodge would like to wish Julie all the best in her retirement.

She started with us on day one in December 2015 when John and I took over the business. She has been instrumental in its modernisation and development. You could always find her in reception with her traditional smile, reliability and helpfulness.
She was be sorely missed by everyone but particularly me!(Lynne)
