Let me tell you about Vestibular Disorder:

Lucy had an episode last week and it is scary and upsetting for dog and owner.

Here are the symptoms to look out for:

Falling, head tilt (rotation of the head with one ear held lower than the other), flickering of the eyeball from side-to-side, general wobbliness (often drifting to one side when moving ) and/or circling and walking like a drunken sailor.

Anti sickness drugs from the vet will help with the nausea and then TLC for a few days.

Lucy needed help with eating as she didn't want to put her head in her bowl and a steadying hand when stepping outside.

She is 98% recovered again - she was back to going for a walk by day 4. Still the odd stumble but otherwise back to normal.

Suddenly Lucy took off on our walk ..... and that's where I found her 😁 such a clever girl!
