Whilst the weather continues to be hot hot hot, don’t forget to provide your horse with additional levels of sodium chloride. Sodium plays a key role in regulating the body’s fluid levels and in turn hydration levels. In the present hot weather, with most UK pasture deficient in sodium, it is even more imperative to supplement sodium chloride. Gastri-kind salt is a palatable and gut friendly way to do this!
