4 Years of The Guildford Vet 🐾💚

Today, we proudly celebrate four years since opening our doors and beginning our journey of providing compassionate, professional veterinary care.

Over the past four years, we have had the privilege of caring for countless beloved pets and supporting their families through every stage of their lives. We are truly grateful for the trust placed in us and for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the health and wellbeing of every patient we serve.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our dedicated team, whose commitment, expertise, and compassion continue to be at the heart of everything we do.

Thank you to our clients and their wonderful pets for being an important part of our journey. We look forward to many more years of exceptional care.

This little white fluffball is a perfect reminder that behind every adorable kitten is a lifetime of health needs — from vaccinations and parasite prevention to microchipping, neutering and regular health checks.

If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would.

Incredible vet from start to finish dealing with our poorly dog who had to stay in overnight for some treatment.

Peter Underwood was phenomenal and went above and beyond with our dog. He was so kind and compassionate and nothing was ever too much to ask. The service has been truly incredible - I cannot fault it.

The rest of the staff we met were also wonderful and you can see how much they love what they do and how much they love their patients.

Thank you so much for the incredible service and for bringing our dog back up to full health after a very nasty illness. We will be forever grateful and cannot thank you enough.

I would highly recommend The Guildford Vet.

Meet Lucy 🐾

We’d like to introduce you to Lucy, our locum vet, who many of you will already have seen around the practice. We’re delighted that Lucy will be continuing to look after our patients with us through to the end of the year. 💚

Lucy graduated from the University of Cambridge and has worked in both charity and general practice ever since. She particularly enjoys small animal dentistry and loves the variety that locuming brings.

Outside of veterinary life, Lucy is an international powerlifter 💪 and enjoys travelling — one of the reasons she loves locuming is that it gives her the opportunity to travel and volunteer with charities abroad.

We’re very pleased to have Lucy as part of the team and hope you’ll continue to give her a warm welcome when you see her around the practice! 🐶🐱

Meet Fly 🐾💙

Fly is a beautiful Border Collie who had a difficult experience at the vets before coming to us. Understandably, he was very nervous and didn’t feel comfortable being handled.

Over the past year, Sheryl our head nurse has worked with Fly and his wonderful owner every week, taking things slowly and building his confidence at his own pace. After last year’s vaccination was a stressful experience, we knew we had to take the time to get him truly ready.

And we did it! 🎉

Fly came in for his vaccination and had it done with zero stress. 🥹💉✨ No drama, no fear — just a very brave boy who trusted us.

It’s moments like this that make all the hard work so incredibly worthwhile. ❤️

And as if Fly’s achievement wasn’t enough, his lovely owner surprised us with these AMAZING biscuits as a thank you! 🍪🐾

Thank you for trusting us with Fly and for putting in all the work at home. What a little superstar! 🌟
