Frosty mornings call for a little extra care. ❄️🐴

There’s something magical about a winter morning at the yard – crisp air, frosty fields and horses enjoying the season. But when temperatures drop, a few extra checks can make all the difference.

Before heading out with your horse, take a moment to check your surroundings. Are the paths safe to walk on? Is the ground frozen or slippery? And is your horse comfortable moving across it?

If paths or hacking routes are icy, it’s better to choose a safer alternative than risk a slip.

A little preparation goes a long way towards keeping winter days enjoyable for you and your horse.
