Okay, so Stobart’s is in…
My head genuinely feels like it’s about to pop off my shoulders! I’ve spoken to so many different shops and suppliers that my brain is officially fried 🤯
BUT… changes are coming.
When it comes to budget brands and budget feeding, it simply isn’t sustainable to produce a £1 chubb containing more expensive proteins—without using chicken—especially with all the new flavours containing added fruit and vegetables.
For months, raw-feeding shops across the UK have been questioning whether some budget brands contain chicken that isn’t being clearly stated on the label 😫 This is particularly worrying for owners whose dogs have a genuine chicken allergy or intolerance.
There may still be a few changes across our freezers over the next month:
🐔 Prime now contains chicken, so it will be kept together in one freezer with this clearly displayed - this won’t happen till I am back.
✅ We have Stobart’s for now, and they state that their recipes don’t contain chicken.
🥩 We will then be moving towards another brand which costs slightly more but offers single-source protein recipes. This means you’ll know exactly which animal protein your dog is eating.
Unfortunately, if your dog cannot tolerate chicken, feeding a genuinely single-protein food may mean spending a little more. I’m working hard to find a way for customers to mix the new range with Prime or Stobart’s, where appropriate, to keep the overall cost as affordable as possible.
Please bear with us while we work through all these changes. It has unfortunately come at the same time as me going away next week, but I’ll do everything I can to keep the freezers as full as possible—and Tilly will also be able to place orders while I’m away.
