High ranking dogs make you feel like a terrible owner! I call it Decision Maker Syndrome!
They’re not here to please you!
They’re not here to listen to you!
They’re here to run the pack!

Watch the springer spaniel (DM) ignore the sprocket (PE) and his regal attitude - he blanks him and totally shuns any attempts for him to engage!
They love together but had been squabbling - this is always a pack order issue!
The attitude of Decision makers means it’s harder to bond with them and they’re not going to be your favourite dog!
Because humans need the affection and loyalty and respect that lower ranking dogs provide!!

🤦‍♀️Another day, another dog on medication unnecessarily 🤦‍♀️
This lab had been put on Fluoxetine for a year because he was dog reactive! The clinical animal behaviourist didn’t even assess him with a real dog in real time and so he spent a year on a drug when actually he was reactive because he had no social skills!
Another owner who decided it wasn’t doing anything and came for a proper assessment with Evil Edna who was absolutely
thrilled to help him 🙄 😆
Behaviourists Medicating dogs with anti depressants and sedatives instead
of assessing and treating appropriately is criminal! And you won’t believe how often it’s happening!

😭I’m so sorry I need to apologise! I’ve obviously upset people by sharing valuable life saving information about how to survive dog attacks, keep children safe and stop your dog being attacked! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
If this has upset you and you find my content bias against bull breeds 👀 maybe you don’t know that I spent the last 3 years taking my OWN bull breed dogs into schools to educate children on how to behave around dogs to avoid being bitten!
So if you’ve been upset by my content I suggest you stop looking at it because leaving silly fake reviews is not going to stop me 😆😆😆
In fact I’ll do it more!

Dogs should NEVER interact ON LEAD & here is why!…
Watch the video and see the gorgeous complex intricate moves like a dance between Turbo the ATD and Ralph who has never met dogs off lead - he’s reactive on lead and that’s because he’s restricted by the lead and harness (🤢)
When we force dog to “say hi” on lead they cannot show the natural “ C” shape that communicates friendly relaxed greetings!!
We ruin it - they do it better without us!!

‼️The hardest part for the owners in an aggression assessment with me is that I won’t let you talk or respond to your dog!!
It’s really hard!! So why do I do it?

Because the dog world is increasingly making owners micromanage their dogs!!!
Every bloody movement the dog makes, they get told “good boy” or have cheese shoved in their face 😆😆
Dogs can’t move or breathe without their owner grabbing sausages out of their multi tool bumbag 🤢 and rewarding with high pitch shrieking “YES” “GOOD JOB” “WELL DONE”
Because at 4 years old as an intelligent sentient being they managed to sit on command 😆😆
“What exactly did he just do that you rewarded him for” I ask in nearly every session!!!!

Because here’s the deal!
When my kids were 5 and learning their times tables I rewarded them when they got it right!
I don’t do that when I ask them what’s 5x5 now because they’re teenagers and I expect them to have learnt it and retained it from the countless boring hours I spent practicing it with them as youngsters!

But we feel the need to praise and mark and reward a 6 year old dog because he lay down when you asked him to sit 😆😆

Dogs are very intelligent and apparently we need a degree in science to allow ourselves to be called dog behaviourists but now we have to reward them for basic necessary primary bodily functions in adulthood!! 🤦‍♀️😆

So you’ll be told to sit down and shut up in an assessment to stop your nervous angsty micromanaging of your apex predator so I can actually see what they’re doing and why they’re doing it without being attached to an overly emotional primate!!

Here’s Doug the lab in his assessment where I give him lots of time and space to think for himself and he absolutely smashed it ❤️ as did his owner who was very quiet with her finger on her lips 🤫🤫🤫🤫😆😆😆🥰
