🐾☀️ Please Don’t Walk Your Dogs in This Heat ☀️🐾

As temperatures rise, please remember that our dogs can struggle in the heat much more than we do.

🐶 Hot pavements can burn sensitive paws.
🐶 Dogs can overheat very quickly, leading to heatstroke.
🐶 Flat-faced breeds, puppies, and older dogs are especially at risk.

Instead:
✅ Walk early in the morning or later in the evening.
✅ Check the pavement with the back of your hand for 5 seconds – if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them.
✅ Provide plenty of fresh water and shade.
✅ Enjoy indoor games, enrichment activities, or garden play during the hottest part of the day.

Signs of heatstroke include:
⚠️ Excessive panting
⚠️ Drooling
⚠️ Lethargy
⚠️ Vomiting
⚠️ Collapse

If you suspect heatstroke, move your dog to a cool area, offer water, and contact your vet immediately.

I’d love to introduce you to our family dog, Millie ❤️

Millie is a 5-year-old French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s full of love, always ready for cuddles, and has a wonderful way of making everyone around her smile.

Like most Frenchies, she loves to keep us on our toes with her cheeky antics and playful nature. Life is never dull when Millie is around! Whether she’s making us laugh with her funny habits or snuggling up for some affection, she brings endless joy, love, and happiness to our family every single day.

Millie is one of the main reasons I started Demi’s Pet Hotel. She has shown me just how important our pets are and how much they deserve to be loved, cared for, and treated as part of the family.

We can’t wait to welcome your pets and give them the same care, attention, and affection that Millie enjoys every day. ❤️🐾
