๐ผ๐พ๐ธ HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY ๐ธ๐พ๐ผ
.. to all of you lovely pet Mums! Whilst you're enjoying your well-deserved treats, don't forget that some of these may be toxic to pets.
๐ซ Chocolate is poisonous to cats, dogs and rabbits. It contains a chemical called theobromine which can cause vomiting, diarrhoea and in worst case scenarios, seizures, internal bleeding and even heart attacks.
๐ท Flowers such as lillies, daffodils and tulips are toxic to cats. Even small amounts of these flowers can cause organ failure if ingested.
๐ญ Xylitol, which is in some sugar-free sweets, can cause dangerously low blood sugar levels and liver failure.
If your pet does eat any of these toxins, call our out of hours provider on 01507 304550 for advice. Knowing what they have eaten and how much has been consumed will help them give you the best advice.
