HydroPet Fitness and Rehabilition Centre A new fitness and rehabilitation centre for your pets based in central Grimsby. We are an animal Hydrotherapy Centre built for fitness and rehabilitation.

We are run by 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses who have completed the SEG Level 3 Award in Hydrotherapy. We have both aquatic treadmill and a hydrotherapy pool with jets to accommodate your patients needs. Please note, we cannot accept patients without a veterinary referral form. Ziggy🌸🌸

This gorgeous girl is Ziggy (aka our newest schmacko monster🦴)

She is coming in the hope that regular hydrotherapy will mean she can be on a much lower dose of pain relief for a sore shoulder and neck! So far so good

She did amazingly well today for her first full session with Chloe and found her confidence within minutes, such a clever girl💗

This handsome old boy is Ludo!!🥹

Ludo unfortunately, like most Labradors in their old age, has some sore hips which has caused weakness to develop. We’re going to start with him in the treadmill to build up some strength and see how he gets on, but so far so good☺️

Cash does so well in the treadmill he even manages to go in all on his own now. Cash is doing really well and his limbs are not causing him any issues with his regular maintenance sessions - which is the best sort of feedback! Keep up the good work handsome boy⭐️

Have you ever wondered what a session in our hydrotherapy pool looks like? Lovely Ollie says i’ll show you!🩵

These videos were taken on a hot day and Ollie’s an older chap so he does shorter sets in the pool so we don’t over work him!

Our older patients benefit so much from hydrotherapy, the water really helps soothe aches and pains🥰

As you can see he’s super chill and enjoys his swims!!

Here at Hydropet, we see dogs of all shapes and sizes, ages and breeds✨
This little lady is Ada and she has what is known as Pug Myelopathy which is sadly a degenerative condition which causes the weakening of the back legs.
This doesn’t stop Ada, she’s such a happy little lady and she loves her pool swims with Chloe, her tail doesn’t stop wagging all session💦
We think she’s just adorable🫶🏼

Shadow here is new to the HydroPet family and was definitely thinking that I was going to drown her!

Shadow has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and so is just starting her rehabilitation journey. Our aim is to build up her muscle and strength so that her musculoskeletal system supports her better to alleviate the pressure on her joints 🙏

Patient update ❤️

This little girl is Hetty! Hetty here is a tad stubborn and did not really want to walk in the water (or be here in general) 🙈

Hetty has had spinal problems so we wanted to give her every possible chance to start enjoying her sessions.

With a change of therapist and a different tactic to try, we can now report that this head strong little lady is working well in her sessions for Jayde and even Nikki when she covered for Jayde last week ❤️

It just goes to show how perseverance can pay off 💪

This is little Charlie who Nikki had the delight of treating whilst Phoebe was off on annual leave a couple of weeks ago.

He was such a superstar for Nikki and really worked hard ❤️
