Yesterday Nika ventured to another new venue and straight in at Prelim this time. There was lots for her to look at, causing a bit of tension and ‘inattentiveness’, but she still managed show off her wonderful paces to come home with a frilly

Nika had another successful educational outing at the weekend. Her first visit to the lovely friendly Sangsho Equestrian, and her first time between the white boards outside. And although she found lots to look at, she still managed to come away with a red ribbon😊 She then went a bit tired and green for the second test, especially in the canter but I couldn’t fault her behaviour

Rachel took took Nika for a little trip out between the boards today and left with their first 1st, 73%, a very respectable score for our beautiful home bred.

Another educational outing for 4 year old Nika (Negro x Johnson) today. A couple of Intro tests at our local Riding Club event. Still a few spooks, this time at the light on the floor and steps, but otherwise showed some very promising movements.

We finally have little (Ginleys Isle of Harris) and large (Ginleys Trevethan) out on the summer grazing. 🤞they seem to be getting along
