Closing Saturday Club this week, it's little TOFFEE!!

Always happy to be here, TOFFEE was double bathed in our Coconut shampoo, before heading back to the table to be blow dried. A spritz of Miracle Elixir on his wonderful legs, we dried him gently before clipping his body, and giving him his signature flared legs and yorkie head trim.

Smelling of Black Cherry and wagging his tail as he strutted down the street, hes iff home for play time and cuddles

This mornings Saturday Club started with two of my older customers, who needed a groom but have not been in the best of health lately and we didn't want to keep them here longer than needed for a new photo, but we loved seeing DREW and SHYLA today and we hope that they are feeling better very soon, we love you guys. ❤️

Next in and ready for a summer glow up, it's my mate MABLE!

'TAKE HER SHORT SHORT' said her owner, so short short we did, giving her a lovely length to help her handle the heat and humidity as she does struggle with that.

Double washed in our Mother Fluffer shampoo, fluff dried from nose to tail and clipped off short, we hand scissor her legs as she hates the feeling of clippers on her pins and gace her a pawdicure and shaped her beautiful little face.

Smelling of Black Cherry, shes off home for another 6 weeks! 🍒

This morming started with a trio of teethy pegs for me to clean, with WILLOW, MAISIE AND MILO coming in for their second round of Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning.

All three were wonderful, but little Maisie loves having her teeth cleaned, with her little tail wagging the whole way through and coming back for more willingly.

We even managed to remove some staining from Milos teeth today which is excellent for him and Willow allowed us to do her teeth too.

Booked in again for August, they leave us minty fresh and feeling clean! 🦷🪥

Last in today - and possibly for the last time too its the lovely MIA.

15 years old, and starting to show signs of discomfort when being groomed, her owners said that they may jot bring her again, and will keep up with what she needs at home. A brave decision and we think it is wonderful that they recognise Mia's needs and put her comfort first.

We wanted to give Mia a lovely last memory of us, so she was very gently bathed and dried (whilst holding her in my arms as she was so comfortable). We attempted her nails, but this stressed her out so we stopped, gave her more cuddles and sent her home.

We love you Mia, and its been wonderful being your groomer and we are here if your owners need any advice on grooming at home 🧡

Next in today, it was HOLLY!

I've always struggled with Holly's groom, as she has a classic combination coat; something is wavy, some is curly and some is very straight and it all grows in different directions. But not today, as I have been doing some online training recently to help me acchieve a much better finish.

It also helps that although Holly is a panty dog and a bit of a licker, she does stand and let me do my job which I always appreciate.

Double bathed in our Mother Fluffer shampoo we dried Holly from head to tail by hand, called fluff drying, before clipping her off on her usual blade and using 4 different types of scissor to get the best head I have ever done!

A pawdicure and a tody up on her legs and she was ready to go home, with her Mum telling me she looked stunning too!

High five, Holly, we did it!

My favourite way to start the day, a little bit of GINGER 🫚

Ginger loves a pamper here at Roopie's, and her mum showed me a video of her running to the salon doors to come in and get started 🥹🧡

Which is exactly what we did (after a big cuddle that is), and we plopped Ginger in the bubbly bath, double scrubbing her with our Strawberry, Avocado and Jasmine deshed shampoo.

She had a little nap whilst being dried under our stand drier, and we had to wake her up to deshed her fur, trim her butt fluffs and give her a pawdicure.

Finishing with another cuddle and a spritz of Black Vanilla, Ginger is ready to head home to sausage sisters Slinky and Sylvia.

Cosmo is back and since we hacebt seen him since February, we had a lovely catch up as we sorted out his fur.

Clipped short, we bathed him and trimmed him up and he was carried home under an umbrella to keep him nice and dry ☔️☂️🌂

Next in today was TREACLE managing to get in and out of the salon under blue skies which is a miracle today!

Her owner likes her clipped short all over, so she had a quick bath and blow dry and a clip off on her usual blade, before heading off home smelling of Lavendar and Tonka
