After wet walks:
🐾 dry your dog properly
🐾 check their paws
🐾 check between toes
🐾 remove any mud, grit or debris
🐾 keep an eye on slippery paths
🐾 make sure collars, leads and harnesses dry out

Some dogs are happy to splash through puddles, while others would much rather have a quick toilet break and get back inside. Like Daisy she is not keen on the wet weather not even for a treats

Would you know what to do if your dog was bitten by an adder? 🐍🐾

Try to remember these steps:

🐾 Stay calm
🐾 Keep your dog as still as possible
🐾 Carry them if you can
🐾 Contact your vet immediately
🐾 Do not try to catch or hurt the snake
🐾 Do not let your dog keep walking or running around

Adder bites can become serious quickly, so it’s always best to get veterinary advice straight away.
