Lisbeth Nursing Home We offer short and long term services including Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care. Every day should be meaningful, different and have purpose.

We understand that moving into a Care Home is a big step, which is why we feel it is important to involve family members as much as possible. We offer “Supported Admissions” for our new residents. This is where a friend or family member can stay at our home on the day of admission with their family member to help them settle in and enjoy their first meal together and get to know our wonderful staf

f. I am Andrea Walker, the Home Manager. I am a qualified Nurse and have been working in care for 30 years. I want to tailor every aspect of our residents’ care to their specific needs, wishes and individual personality. Each of my residents will be treated with respect and shown love as if their were a personal family member. Every member of my team is skilled, patient, compassionate and always willing to go above and beyond simply to re-assure and make our residents happy.

We would like to congratulate our student nurse, Daniella, on successfully completing her placement with us at Lisbeth Nursing Home 🩷🥳🎉🎓👩‍⚕️✨

We are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved during her time here 🌟💖.

Her dedication, compassion, professionalism, and willingness to learn have made a positive impact on both our residents and staff.

It has been a pleasure to watch her grow in confidence and develop her skills throughout her placement 👏. She has been a valued member of our team and a wonderful support to our residents.

🎈🎶 A lovely day of one-to-one activities today!

Residents enjoyed balloon badminton and balloon tap, bringing lots of smiles and laughter. We were also treated to a beautiful musical performance by one of our talented residents, which we really enjoyed.

We had a fun-filled activity session with Ashlin today! 😊🎉

Residents enjoyed a ball toss challenge ⚽🎯, a friendly competition to see who could wrap the wool around a swimming noodle the fastest 🧶🏆, and hand-eye coordination games where we trapped balls under cups while Ashlin kept us on our toes ⚽🥤🙌.

Lots of laughter 😂, smiles 😄, teamwork 🤝, and great participation from everyone! 💙🌟🎊👏😊

🎨🖌️ Today we enjoyed a lovely Sip & Paint session with Ashlin.

Everyone had a wonderful time getting creative, expressing themselves through art, and enjoying each other's company.

It was fantastic to see so many smiles and beautiful paintings come to life.

Yesterday, Helen enjoyed a lovely one-to-one visit to the café with our Activities Coordinator. ☕💜

During their time together, Helen shared some wonderful memories from her childhood. She reminisced about how Wyrley Rose was once her primary school and told us that her mother also attended the school many years ago.

Helen recalled happy memories of her time there and reflected on how much the area has changed over the years. Although the school has since been demolished, it remains a special part of her family history and personal story.

It was a lovely afternoon filled with conversation, reminiscence, and treasured memories. 🥰

🐾💖 We had a lovely visit from Andrea’s dog, Coco, today!

Coco spent time visiting our residents, bringing plenty of smiles, cuddles, and happiness to everyone she met.

After making her rounds, this clever girl headed over to the kitchen, carrying her dog bowl with her, and stood patiently waiting for a treat. It wasn't long before she had some delicious cheese popped into her bowl! 🧀🐶

Thank you, Coco, for brightening everyone's day and bringing so much joy to our home. We always love seeing you and look forward to your next visit! 💕🐾

🌞🎪 Lisbeth Nursing Home Summer Fair Donation Appeal 🎪🌞

We're getting excited for our Summer Fair and would be incredibly grateful for any donations to help make it a fantastic day for our residents and community.

We are looking for: 🧸 Teddy bears
🎁 Gift sets
🎲 Games
🎟️ Tombola prizes
🎉 And any other unwanted new or good-quality items that could be used as prizes.

📅 Please drop off donations before the 24th June to our reception.

Every donation, big or small, will help make our Summer Fair a success. All proceeds raised will go directly towards providing our residents with more fun activities, outings, entertainment, and special experiences throughout the year.
