K-9 Clip Professional dog grooming salon established, owned and run by Carol Morris since 1981. City & Guilds I won top groomer for Kent & Sussex in 1985.

I started K-9 Clip in December 1981 at the back of my parent's pet food shop in Wrotham Rd, Welling, Kent. My business grew and in 1986 I bought the lease on a large shop in Hadlow Rd, Welling. I passed my City & Guilds in Dog Grooming in 1988, the year they first came out and have trained many staff over the years to gain their City & Guilds too. After 24 years running a very busy salon trimming

over 70 dogs per week I decided to downsize and build a purpose built grooming salon at the rear of my home which opened in March 2006. I trim all the dogs that come to K-9 Clip. My daughter Rebecca works on Saturdays and in her university holidays and enjoys bathing the dogs. I love my job but after 33 years I have a lot of trouble with my joints. Large and overweight dogs cause me to be in a lot of pain. I have therefore had to cut my hours down which is why I only work 4 days per week and only on small dogs.

Please can I ask that all dogs are exercised to go to the toilet prior to arrival.

It has been brought to my attention by a neighbour that they believe some of my clients are letting their dogs use the parking area as a toilet.

I honestly believe that all my clients are the kind that would clean up after their dogs. But having had a visit from a neighbour today about it I must just bring it to everyone’s attention.

Just wanted to let my clients know that we have recently increased our prices. ✂️🛁

But, the biggest difference will be for dogs that require extra work or are quite challenging due to their behaviour.

The salon prices have always been a starting price not the set price. So from now on, if your dog requires extra work or is difficult to work on please be aware it will cost more. 🐩🐾
