This post is important it could save lives!
Please like follow and more importantly share far and wide

Do's:
You can cool your dog by 10oc before you step out of your house for a walk.
Wet their paws, neck, underbelly and their pit area.
Take cool water not ice cold
If your dog wants to rest find a cool shady grassy area
Laying them down on a wet towel is a great way to cool them down.
If you notice your dog over heating your car is a great way to cool your dog make sure he's wet turn on the AC the cool air and wet dog is effective way to cool them down remember he has to be wet never dry!!
Brush your double coat dog regular do 🚫 t shave them their protective coat protects them against sun burn

Don't :
NEVER!! Put a wet towel or put a wet jacket on your dog!! This may seem a really good idea but the sun beating down on your dog and a wet jacket you've created a sauna effect
Don't put ice cubes in your dog's water bowl they can choke on them and gulping Ice water is equally harmful to your dog

🔥The UK is heating up! Here are some helpful suggestions to keep your pup cool and safe. 🔥

1) Choose to walk your dog on Grass not tarmac
Carry out a quick 5 sec test and rest your hand on the ground if it's hot it's too hot for your dog
2) take water to hydrate them
3) Walk them little but often and don't run or chase the ball/Frisbee
4) Take them to the woods not the Beach there's little to no shade
5 Take them to dog friendly lakes rivers and running streams where they can play and cool down
6) Walk them early morning or late evening.

Our dogs can over heat very quickly if you can leave them at home or with a responsible adult
Especially if they are young puppies, senior dogs over weight and dogs with flat faces.
No harm will come to your dog if you don't walk them
Heatstroke can kill
Look out for heavy drooling excessive panting weakness and lethargic get them to a vetinarian fast!!

Sadly farmers are welcomed by a lot of casualties where dogs have attacked their livestock. We're right on the kusp of summer they're all out enjoying the open fields grazing... Let's teach our beloved dogs how to behave passing through their space....

After just 3 sessions!!? This boy walks off the lead! comes when called! lead pulling? Nope chasing joggers and cyclists absolutely not...! now I can confidently say he will not be interested in harassing any farm animals...
