Three innocent little faces enjoying some carrot tops 🥕 🐇

Truffle, Olive and Parsnip have been busy munching their way through the tasty leaves and crunchy stalks. Apparently, if something can be chewed, it should be chewed - preferably into tiny pieces and scattered across the carpet!

And yes… that is a hole in the sofa behind them. We’d like to say it’s an unusual occurrence, but anyone who shares their home with rabbits will know better 😂

What’s the most expensive thing your bunnies have ever ‘taste tested’? Please make us feel better about the sofa! (And carpet, skirting boards and door frames) 😂💚

Bonbon’s had another terribly demanding day at Hoppy Pets… 🤭🤍

She’s eaten, made a mess and spent several hours supervising the humans, so naturally she now requires a full body massage to recover.

Bonbon contributes absolutely nothing towards the household bills, but pays us in cuteness - and somehow, we’ve agreed this is a perfectly acceptable arrangement 😅

Does anyone else’s bunny have their humans this well trained?

If your rabbits or guinea pigs love something natural that they can really get their teeth into, we have plenty for them to choose from! 🐇🐹

Our grassy toys include balls for rolling and throwing, mats and toys to nibble, cosy hideaways to investigate and plenty of options that can be filled with hay or forage.

They’re great for adding different shapes and textures to your bun or piggy’s space, encouraging them to explore and giving those enthusiastic little destroyers something they’re actually allowed to demolish!

I rather overdid things yesterday and today the fatigue and pain have well and truly caught up with me, so unfortunately I haven’t been able to get any orders packed and sent today.

But i’ll be back at Hoppy Pets tomorrow morning, packing everything up and getting your parcels on their way. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding - running a small business alongside chronic illness doesn’t always go quite to plan, however much I want it to! 💚

We’re also hoping to have some more forage arriving soon. Our forage shelves may be looking a little emptier than usual in the meantime, but we still have lots of chew toys, tunnels and other enrichment available to keep busy little buns and piggies entertained 🐇🐹

Meanwhile, Truffle, Olive and Parsnip have been very busy carrying out an extremely important taste test on some small dandelion root pieces. As you can see, they take their quality control duties very seriously! 💚

It’s been a busy day at Hoppy Pets! 🐇

This morning we packed and sent your orders on their way, then this afternoon we swapped parcels for power tools and started building an extension to our outdoor bunnies’ home! 🏠

They already have a 12ft x 6ft enclosure and this will give them another 6ft x 6ft area connected by a tunnel. We’re going to build some levels inside for them too, as well as adding another run for even more space to explore.

It definitely needs a lick of paint, but we found it on Facebook for just £20, so we couldn’t resist! 😍 We can’t wait to transform it and show you the finished result.

Somehow, everything we do seems to come back to making life better for buns - whether they’re ours or someone else’s. We put our hearts into it, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way 💚🐇🥰

We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who is continuing to order while some of our stock is a little lower than usual. We’re working hard to get everything stocked back up again and every single order genuinely helps us to do that.

Truffle looks like he’s moments away from taking flight, presumably on an extremely important mission to protect the Hoppy Pets treat cupboard 😂

Meanwhile, Olive and Parsnip appear to have been assigned the slightly less demanding role of lying there looking cute. Excellent teamwork all round 👏🏼 😅

So if your own little superheroes are running low on hay, treats, toys or essentials, now is a very good time to stock them up! Things are a little quieter than usual order wise at the moment, which means we’re able to get orders packed up and dispatched nice and quickly 🛒💚
