Greetings from London!

Our future witches and wizards have travelled to Diagon Alley via the infamous Floo Network to collect everything they'll need before term begins.

Wands have been chosen, Gringotts has been visited, a few dogs definitely ignored instructions and wandered into Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, and Houndrid is now waiting at Platform 9¾ to es**rt everyone onto the Dogwarts Express.

Just when the dogs thought they were in for a month of spa breaks, golf and all-inclusive holidays, a mysterious letter arrived at the daycare.

"Dear Residents of Dog Adventure Centre… you are invited to compete in this year's grand Tri-Wizidog Tournament at Dogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

Needless to say, the spa towels were cast aside, the golf clubs packed away and the holiday bookings hurriedly cancelled.

It's a completely understandable worry.

Many owners feel more anxious than their dogs!

That's exactly why we don't expect dogs to simply arrive and stay for a full day straight away.

In short, the makeshift ship was a total disaster.

Things quickly went from bad to worse when a huge storm hit and reduced the one-magnificent ship to, well, a raft just about big enough to hold everyone.

It seemed all hope was lost when, out of nowhere…

A huge military ship pulled up right next to the raft, helicopters circled the crew and controlled the panic, and lifeboats were dispersed to bring the dogs to safety.

It turned out that the packages washing ashore were actually sent by the presidog and contained letters, a flare gun, and a radio transmitter which would have saved the dogs a lot sooner… so the castaways may not have made the best use of them

But anyhow, just like that the castaways were on course to be returned home.

And they couldn’t wait to share their new instinct-driven way of life with their friends back in Barksville. You never know, it might come in handy some time.

Ronnie’s mum asked and we delivered!

Much to Ronnie’s disgust. Evil Auntie Sara took him to Pets UK in Grantham to use the self service dog wash. There was more brown fur in the bath than you could imagine!

Anyway, we played attack the towel back at daycare to finish the drying process as someone doesn’t like the blower 🤣

After seeing the post of Lola having a bath yesterday, Chalky wanted to show up his groom (new fur cut) which was expertly completed today during his daycare session by Meg one of our amazing canine carers.

Meg was a Groomer for many years before she joined us.

If your dog needs just a bath and brush, a quick tidy up or a full on groom talk to us and we will see if we can fit it in during their next session with us.

Don’t forget we can clean teeth and clip claws during any session.
