A little announcement from Smart Pets Raw Pet Food… 🐾

Many of you know that I only stock products that I’d be happy to feed to my own dogs. If I’m not completely happy with something, I feel it’s important to make a change.

For quite some time, I’d become increasingly disappointed with the quality of the Durham Animal Feeds mince. At the same time, the price continued to increase, and I no longer felt it offered the value or consistency that I wanted for my customers.

So, I went back to the drawing board.

I spent a long time researching alternative raw food suppliers and wanted to work with a smaller, independent company rather than a large manufacturer, where recipes and ingredients tend to change too often.

After a lot of research, and most importantly, after feeding it to my own dogs for the last 10 days, I’m delighted to say that Buddy’s Choice by Albion Raw Pet Food will be arriving in the freezer tomorrow!

So far, I’m really impressed. The mince is made from human-grade ingredients (not category 3 waste!), it’s a much drier, better-quality product, and I love the simple, practical packaging. Most importantly… my own dogs absolutely love it!

The packs are still 454g and will be £2 each, so there’s a small increase in price, but there would have been if I’d continued with the DAF mince.

I genuinely hope you’ll be as pleased with this new range as I am. As always, thank you for your continued support of my small business. I wouldn’t recommend anything that I wouldn’t happily feed to my own dogs, and I’m really excited for you all to try Buddy’s Choice & Albion Pet Minces.
