So with this heat comes real dangers for dogs, as heatstroke can happen incredibly fast.
It’s not just the outside temperature I monitor, managing the temperature inside my van is even more important, as vehicles can quickly turn into hot boxes.
That’s why ventilation, airflow, regular temperature checks, and keeping dogs cool and hydrated are always a priority when they’re in my care. Their safety and wellbeing will always come first.
Right now it is 22C outside. Here is a reading from the thermometer thats in the back of my van.
Just for clarity, I am finished for the day and my van has been parked and empty of dogs for 1.5 hours in the sun.
