Don’t forget the ID tag! 🐾

It’s one of the simplest ways to help your dog get home quickly if they ever go missing. Make sure the details are correct, clear and easy to read. It is a legal requirement in UK law 🐶

A tiny tag can make a big difference. 💚

Meet Bailey🐾

Bailey is currently one of my 1-2-1 training clients. We’re working together on his loose-lead walking and helping him feel more confident while out on walks.

One of the biggest benefits of 1-2-1 training is that each session can be completely tailored to your dog’s individual needs. We can create a flexible training plan that works around your schedule while helping you stay consistent and make steady progress.

A huge well done to Darnold and Luna who were practicing their 'Funky Foundations' in scent detection.

It was lovely to watch these teams build on their Foundations, with some tweaks to progress further and lots of fun for all.

We ask so much of our dogs 🐾

Within days of coming home we expect them to walk nicely on a lead, sleep alone, greet everyone politely, come back when called, ignore distractions, understand our rules and somehow fit perfectly into our lives.

But imagine leaving everything you've ever known, moving into a new home where nobody speaks your language and being expected to understand a completely different world from day one.

It's no wonder some puppies (and older rescue dogs) struggle.

Before we focus on obedience, let's focus on friendship.

Take time to build trust, teach your dog what life with you means, and remember that confidence grows from feeling safe - not from being rushed.
