🐾 Did you know I write a blog?

I regularly share practical, force-free advice to help you better understand your dog and make training feel less stressful for both of you.

My latest post explores a phrase I hear all the time:
“My dog is stubborn"

But what looks like stubbornness is often something else entirely. Confusion, stress, distraction, discomfort, breed-related behaviour, or simply a dog who needs more support in that moment.

By changing the question from “Why won’t my dog listen? to "What is my dog finding difficult?”, we can move away from conflict and towards clearer communication, trust and confidence. 💗

Lovely to see Bonnie rocking her loose lead walking. She is a little nervous but also gets a little overexcited in new environments, but with a dedicated hooman, a tweak in practices to calm everything down (less.is more!) and allowing Bonnie time to process and take the lead, they are ready for some holiday adventures in new places.

Here she is practicing to make permanent!
