🐾✂️ HAND STRIPPING CHALLENGE
You’ve got this dog on your table…
How would YOU approach this groom? 👀
Is this coat ready to be stripped? How can you tell?
Would you wash the dog first or strip before bathing and why?
If you wash first, what type of products would you use or avoid?
Would you hand strip the full coat or work in stages?
Which area would you start with first?
What tools would you choose?
How would you approach the jacket differently from the furnishings?
How would you work around the head and ears?
Would you use powder or another aid?
What would make you decide NOT to strip this coat?
How would you protect the coat texture and colour?
What is the biggest mistake to avoid during hand stripping?

Bonus: Would you ever clip this coat instead and in what situation?
Let’s see how different groomers approach the same dog 👇
