Do you know what to do if your dog was choking ?

🐶🚨 HEIMLICH MANEUVER FOR DOGS: What Every Pet Owner Should Know! 🐾

Choking in dogs is a life-threatening emergency that requires quick action. If your dog is choking and struggling to breathe, knowing basic pet first aid can make a critical difference. ❤️🐕

🐾 Remember these emergency tips:
✅ Check whether your dog can breathe, cough, or make sounds.
✅ If an object is clearly visible and easy to remove, carefully remove it without pushing it deeper.
✅ If the airway remains blocked, appropriate choking first aid may help dislodge the object.
✅ Seek immediate veterinary emergency care, even if the object comes out.

⚠️ Important safety note: The correct technique depends on your dog's size, position, and condition. Avoid blind finger sweeps, and never lift a conscious dog by its hind legs or apply forceful abdominal thrusts without knowing the proper technique. Get veterinary help immediately.

📌 Save this post and share it with fellow pet parents! You never know when this knowledge might save a life. 🐾❤️

Bogle is on pheasant watch 😂

09/10/2026

This is our weekend. 5 years ago today 9th October we scattered grans ashes at Ullswater and every year mum and I visit the area with Bogle and today was very special. It rained most of the way from Gloucester and then we got to just before we turn off for Ullswater and there was this lovely rainbow, it was still teaming down until we got to Glenridding and got out the car and it stopped blue sky appeared and the sunshine 🌞Gran was definitely looking down on us and smiling. We miss her everyday and her memory will never fade. We are now settled in The Deer House at Underley Estate for the weekend. You can’t beat some
mother/daughter time and Bogle 😂

Bogle had his yearly Cumberland Sausage Roll - not spoilt at all 🐾🐾🐾

1st October and also International Black Dog Day.

The day was originally founded in 2011 by pet lifestyle expert Colleen Paige to raise awareness for "Black Dog Syndrome"—a phenomenon where dark-coated dogs are statistically passed over for adoption in animal shelters due to photography difficulties, unfair superstitions, or subconscious biases.
