Arthritis is a progressive condition and although it is not curable, there are several ways to improve your pet’s comfort and help them to lead a full and active life.

Symptoms such as stiffness, limping, struggling to jump and reluctance to walk can indicate underlying osteoarthritis – a painful condition caused by degeneration and inflammation of the joints.

We are on hand to help, please reach out and book today.

*Cats protection stroud fundraiser*

Our fundraiser for Cats protection Stroud is still occuring. Cats protection Stroud have helped us multiple times with stray cats.

One of those cats was Asha. Asha came to us following a road traffic accident. She had a broken jaw and was pregnant. We wired her jaw and got a place in foster at Cat protection Stroud to have her babies. She went on to have 3 healthy babies all doing really well.

If you wish to support them please join in. We have a go fund me page and an unrelated name the teddy competition at our Quedgeley practice.

We’d be lost without them

Our pets can bring comfort, encourage us to get outside, help us stick to a routine, and remind us to slow down and enjoy the present.

Today, we’re celebrating all the little ways our furry friends can make life a little brighter and the positive impact they can have on our wellbeing.

Happy International Rabbit Day!🐰
Today we're celebrating our long-eared companions and reminding owners just how important good rabbit care is.
Rabbits thrive with the right diet, plenty of space to exercise, companionship and regular health checks to keep them happy and healthy.
Do you have a bunny at home? We'd love to see them! Share a photo in the comments below🐰

Here at Woods, occasionally we have injured strays handed into the practice. Lots of rescues help us greatly with rehoming these strays once they are well enough. Cats protection (Stroud branch) have helped us with several strays recently and we would like to try and give back.

We are running two separate fundraisers to donate to Helen and her team at Stroud Cats Protection.

We'd love you to help us! If you can, please pop into practice to join in on our name the teddy cat competition. It is a £2 cash entry where all proceeds go to cats protection. The winner wins the teddy cat and her kittens.

Alternatively, if you would like to donate to support further please follow the QR code or link to our Go fund me page, any donations are greatly appreciated!

Please note: donations via the Go fund me do not count as any entries into the teddy cat raffle.
