My approach:

I offer friendly, patient and supportive coaching tailored to both horse and rider. I believe in clear communication and taking the time to listen, ensuring each session is adapted to individual goals, needs and learning styles. Horse welfare and rider wellbeing are always at the heart of my coaching, creating a positive environment where confidence can grow. With a competitive background in showjumping, I enjoy helping riders develop their skills, strengthen their partnership with their horse, and build the confidence needed to achieve their goals both at home and in the competition arena.

Alongside my practical experience, my academic background has given me a strong interest in coaching pedagogy, learning theories, and rider development. I enjoy exploring different coaching approaches and learning styles to ensure my coaching is effective, adaptable, and tailored to the individual needs of each rider.

I will be offering both flat and jumping lessons, private, semi private or group lessons so please do get in touch if you have any questions. I am based in Brockworth but will be covering Glos/Hartpury and Cheltenham areas.

Time to introduce myself:

Hi,

So after a re brand I thought it was time to re introduce myself.

Iโ€™m 23 years old and have had horses all my life, I grew up on a livery/competition yard and helped run shows, gave lessons on my ponies and even took them to the school fetes. I live in my own little house with my dog Kesรค, work on a showjumping yard, attend Hartpury University and love visiting my family in Finland which is like my second home.

Fast forward to my late teens I was lucky enough to have the most wonderful horse who made all my childhood dreams come true. Didi, took me from jumping 1m to FEI 1.30m classes in less than a year, she was an incredible jumper with the biggest heart, taught me so much but was also my best friend. Didi, sparked my passion for showjumping and I learnt so much from so many different coaches and professionals.

Again, fast forward to 2023 where I started my journey at Hartpury University to follow my second passion - coaching. I am about to go into my 3rd year studying Equestrian Sports Coaching. During this time, I have taught so many lessons from flat work, to grid work, to arena xc, private, group and even coaching the local pony club! Itโ€™s brought so many fabulous opportunities and the support Iโ€™ve had has made me grow so much as a coach as well as a person.

During this time, I have completed my BHS Stage 2 and BHS Stage 3 coaching exams, my first aid at work as well as my safeguarding qualification. Now Iโ€™ve broken up for the summer, Iโ€™m looking at starting to offer coaching alongside my current job which is where this page comes in! โ˜บ๏ธ

What a year it has been!

I only started freelancing in April and I have finished the year with so many new connections, amazing clients and some great horses too! ๐Ÿ™‚

I want to thank every single person that has trusted me to look after their horses and everyone who has stuck by me this year!

Hereโ€™s to another year freelancing with horses! Itโ€™s really not a job to me, itโ€™s my life and the way I love to live my life. ๐Ÿ™‚

So thank you and hereโ€™s to 2023!!! ๐ŸŽ‰
